If I'm to be the next Mayor of this area it's important to me that every inch of South Yorkshire feels the benefit from Thorne to Penistone, from Darton to Maltby.

I have a three-point plan to ensure that our smaller communities feel just as connected as our larger ones.

1) Support local economies and communities - giving people the chance to get what they need without having to travel somewhere else.

2) Work with the local bus companies and community groups to ensure that bus provision remains at the right amount and the right times.

3) A stainless steel guarantee that I will fight for the forgotten towns and villages.

I won't just be a mayor for the big population centres, I am going to represent all.
